Long ago an alien race called the Miorpeans used their advanced technology to revitalize a tired and abused Earth. While the terraforming process would create a pristine and unspoiled paradise it would also eliminate the last remnants of a weary and dying human race.

A Miorpean experiment in human genetics and the selfless Intervention of one such alien would give humanity a second chance to inhabit an environment where all living beings can flourish in ecological harmony.

This time however, there will be protector of Earth. Fayala, born of human and alien DNA She is the living Earth Goddess who has the power and resolve to insure humanity does not abuse this precious gift.

Humanity flourished under the guidance of her priestesses but time would gradually erode Fayala's visage and influence over the people. Resentment would grow and the breakdown of societal norms based on an ecological co-existence with the planet will lead to a violent rebellion and an uncertain future.

Maddox Price has been implanted with a chip, allowing an ancient deity to control every thought that crosses his mind. Be it unwillingly, he's tasked with protecting someone "special," a smart-mouthed girl deemed the "healer of humanity." Claire Adara was raised in an orphanage, left abandoned after her parents died in a fatal car accident. She'd learned to be sneaky, and that trust is a rare gift that must be earned. When she met Maddox, though, she was drawn to him. Well, not to his attitude, but rather the shimmering gold liquid that ran through his veins. As if controlled solely by a deity and absent of any individual thought, Maddox and Claire must (against their natural instincts) work together to save the world from the natural catastrophe that is the Red Giant. The sun has become 100 times bigger than it once was, and it's scorching the Earth. Claire is the only one who can reverse it. Though, the sun is only one problem on a long list of them. Anarchist group- Chaos- is after her life, simply for the omnipotent power that she possesses. As humanity stands on its last two feet- her two feet- Claire works alongside Maddox in a journey to save both humanity and themselves. "It's human nature. It's instinct to survive, no matter the cost." The world has fallen into desolation. The apocalypse has already started and finished, leaving some of the surviving ones with strange powers and mysterious scars. The world has ended, according to some, and is now in a state of rebirth. Others say it hasn't ended yet and that it's only going to get worse. The remaining people have grouped together in packs and gangs, raiding the desolate cities and avoiding the ones called the Destroyers, who capture and torture the remaining survivors. No one is safe. One fifteen year old boy knows this better than anyone. He and his older sister lived together, sticking to the dark alleys of their abandoned city, and survived for years after the apocalypse, until the Destroyers came and took her away, reigning terror on the few who remained in the city. The boy, desperate to find someone to help him save his sister, leaves the city and finds one of the youngest cooperative packs in North America, called the Raiders, comprised of unwanted individuals with the strange powers left from the destruction of years past. Their leader, a destructive insomniac, promises to help him in return for the skills and usefulness this young boy seems to possess, but something disrupting sends waves of unease through the Raiders, something about a forgotten past and talk of a mutiny. "Maybe there's more to life than just surviving." ... Rated C for Caution. Though it's rated mature, there is no bad language or vivid descriptions of sexual contact. It does have very strong themes. Please read the two important notices in the intro. Read at your own risk. Thanks. Do your genes, your parents, teachers, or your master determine who you will be in life? Can they set your value in the universe? 650 years ago the known species of the universe came together and signed the Alliance, a document that would help each race find its place in the universe. It granted freedom to some and the scant protection of slavery to others. Into this society a handful of children are born who will change it forever, if they can survive to adulthood. Here is the origin story of two of those children. Hathu is born to a man determined to make the universe bow to him and his species. Since he learned to talk, Hathu has been a disappointment to his father. He doesn't want to become a warrior, and he refuses to assert his dominance. When he accidentally overhears his father plotting against the Ir'Klahn empire, can Hathu stop him? Mik is born with no rights, destined to become a lifelong slave. His mother tries to protect him from this fate by running away and finding a home for them on a trading ship that travels from world to world. They are safe for now, but how long can they hide from the best trackers in the universe? This is the first book in the My Kingdom Come series. 3 parts Complete Mature

Humanity has unlocked the elixir of eternal life. The brain can be cleaned and washed back into youthfulness. The body cannot. But by transporting the brain to a younger body, one that can host it, it can continue living. The synthetically produced humans are not people. Of course they're not. If they were people then the originally occurring humans would be monsters for killing them and transferring originally occurring brains into their bodies. The originally occurring people are not monsters. Of course not. They just want to live. And to save something you need to kill something. The synths are a necessary sacrifice. ----- Ika has heard what the originals think about the synths. But she also knows her own heart, and her own grief, and her own terror.
