It's been a dream for every girl in the world to be a princess one day. But it wasn't what Mal, daughter of Maleficent ever wanted. Transforming from an isle girl to the lady of the court wasn't as easy as ABC. Despite the new things she's struggling to learn, she also has difficulties in making time for herself as she will become the next queen of Auradon. She decided to take a break from everything before the coronation by running away and return back to the Isle of the lost where she was raised.
At the Isle, she reunited with some of her oldest friends she wished she never met them including Uma. They were nothing but a troublemaker and started to cause dramas in Mal's personal life. Uma 's first mate and a possible captain are Harry Hook who had a history and shared the same story with Mal.

Soon, Mal is going to be crowned Queen along with her King Ben. But something was wrong. It isn't Mal to be a sophisticated ruler... Mal's past thoughts became wilder ad she doubted about the decisions she makes now because of how she sees Harry. She wants everyone to change just like how she did.
Will Mal pick a painful love from the past or a not-right choice that provides convenience that she's been offered and importantly, her friends?
