Every New Year's Day, like clockwork, Emily receives a mysterious letter in her mailbox-from her future self. These letters have always guided her through life's biggest decisions, offering advice, warnings, and glimpses of what's to come. For years, they've shaped her choices, giving her the sense that her future is under control, written in the stars.

But this year, things are different. As the clock strikes midnight, there's no letter. Emily is left with silence, uncertainty, and the unsettling realization that her future may no longer be scripted for her. For the first time, she's forced to face the terrifying possibility that she must choose her own path without the comfort of knowing what's ahead.

As she grapples with whether to follow the cosmic fate she once believed in or forge her own way, Emily embarks on a journey of self-discovery. With no letter to guide her, will she trust her instincts and change her future-or was the absence of a letter a sign that she was always meant to write her own story?

Featured on @Romance in September 2024. Cover art by the fabulous LNRoberts1. It's 2019 and university student, Olivia O'Shea, doesn't possess the luck of the Irish as her name might suggest. Instead, she's feeling like she might just be the unluckiest girl on the planet. Her high school sweetheart, Daniel Burns, whom she continued to date in college, was found with his fingers, and a few other more salacious body parts in someone else's cookie jar. Now it's summer vacation and Olivia is back in her hometown licking her wounds and trying to forget it all. At their old high school's international food festival, Olivia runs into Daniel with his new girlfriend, and a storm is definitely brewing. But this storm is a real one with thunder, lightning and rain, and Olivia, caught out in the open, is suddenly struck by lightning. She wakes up in the high school infirmary only to find that she's been transported back to high school with the chance to do it all over again. Olivia is determined to ditch Daniel, in spite of his stubborn advances, and instead tries to rekindle an old flame with the shy introverted Jack Garcia, with whom she'd shared one very spectacular kiss back in high school. As Olivia attempts to pursue Jack, Daniel keeps getting in the way and frustrating her plans. Can she really change her future for the better, or is history only meant to repeat itself? If you liked the iconic 1980s rom-com Peggy Sue Got Married, then you'll love this modern retelling of the classic, time-travel, do-over, second chance at love.

"You... you're not just Gifted, Trinity!" the professor yelled out to her, but she only walked faster to avoid him, his antics damn near killed her, he's a nut-case and she want nothing to do with whatever he was saying anymore. "You are a Seer!" She stopped in her tracks. A Seer, she used to read them in books, an all magical being, there is no way she is someone so powerful, but what he said nonetheless intrigued her. She turned around and looked at the professor, hands on his knees gasping for air almost worn out just by trying to follow her. "A-and with my help, I can help you manage your powers," ----- Trinity, a young women born to a poor family in the poverty-stricken labor district. In addition to this, Trinity is also a "Gifted," a name given to those with magical powers, but she finds out she's not just gifted, and her destiny is greater than she could ever imagine [this story has themes of sex and violence]
