She woke up to hear knocking on glass
At first she thought it was from the window
Until she heard it came from the mirror again
---
Mirrors are a door to another dimension, and you can't just walk right through it.
Well you could, if the people known as 'reflections' weren't hired to keep us out
---
Sometimes mirrors may look appeasing to the eye, but maybe it could be hiding something inside of it.

And that something could change your life.

For better or for worse.
---
That is what happened to Emily Smith. Your normal teenage girl.

Well, she used to be a bubbly, happy person.
---
Was? You may ask.

Yes, was, because her friend backstabbed her.
She never saw it coming.
No one did.
---
But that's the thing, you never see it coming, you never do.

The same person to back stab you will be the same person to ask you why you are bleeding.
---
So, what happens when one day Emily stumbles across an old deserted house and she finds a mirror?

The Artist's Perspective by Hollowemka

"Did you ever think about perspective? It's a funny thing. People are essentially looking at the same, but everyone sees something different. And I can't help but feel like I see something that isn't suppose to be there. Something...completely out of the picture." People can go through many horrible things and live. Emma Gonzalez knows that better than most, though she would hardly admit to the hell she went through. After spending years separated from her siblings by a tragedy that can't be undone, she is back with her family, starting a new life. New house, new school, new people. She got a chance to start over and she intends to use it for the best. But can she really do that with the shadows of her past always behind her? Noah Knight thought his life couldn't get worse. His love life went to hell and his personal seem to want to follow right behind. He needed a break. But a new school year is here, which means new homework and exams. Yay! Though after discovering the arrival of new kids, he believes things might take a turn. He is proven correct when a blond beauty with unique eyes walks in with her brothers and trouble starts to show it's face to the world. After getting tangled in her crazy world full of art, talking food, soccer and horror toilet, he believes he should have sat this one out. Too late now. Hi guys! This is my very first story, so constructive criticism, pointing out grammar errors and tipos is welcomed. English isn't my mother language, so I would appreciate your help. Warning: This book will involve adult content such as mature language, bullying, child abuse and rape. If there is someone reading this who went through the things listed above, I want you to know that you are not alone. You are loved and very strong to continue fighting, and I'm sorry about everything you went and probably still are going through. If you want to talk with a stranger for a different perspective, my chat is always open for you. SLOW UPDATES!
Pretty, The Ninth Transmigrator and the Eight Impenetrable Kingdoms by BoriCats
17 parts Ongoing
Pretty was one of the ace officers of a powerful secret organization on Earth who had abilities to control their Rentom or a person's souls. Betrayed by her own uncle, she was sacrificed in a ceremony to take her abilities. Just when she was about to be killed she was taken accidentally by a mysterious force and transported her soul in a different world she once read in a book. There were supposed to be only eight people to be transmigrated to replace the eight vacant bodies of eight major characters in the book. But a ninth one was accidentally added in error. Pretty, who was clueless to know that she was not the only one transmigrated, decided to only wait for her new world to be better by the protagonist of the book, a lost princess destined to be the ruler of the kingdom, and the lackeys that helped her. Not knowing eight other people had already replaced the souls of these characters. Pretty knew what happened in the book, so she decided to find a corner and stay there. But the future that the book told was different from what she's experiencing now. The world of Sologea was on the verge of an apocalypse. Organization and monsters, both creatures and humans, not mentioned in the book started appearing and the legend of Eight Impenetrable Kingdoms was jump started for a reason unlike in the book. Now, she had a world to save but the other eight transmigrators thought they were god's chosen and decided to take the future in their own hand causing more apocalypse and problems. She just wanted to live peacefully. But a greater conspiracy and legend awaits her and if she couldn't help it, god forbid, she wants nothing of it.
The Lost Life of Laraine by BearGoRawr
54 parts Ongoing
She lead a rather tragic life. The black sheep of her family due to her lack of affinity for fire. Her affinity was quite the opposite. Water in fact. Already in a time when women did not really have much political power or rights, she was outcasted by her family despite being of nobility. Still allowed to live in the distant west wing of the massive Grand Duke's manor, she has never eaten a single meal with her family nor extended family, and has spent her loneliness in her books and sword lessons. Although only taught by the head butler and one of the low ranked knights of the family, she was quite bright and if her family would have given her a chance she would have done great things. If only she didn't die at such a young age. Married off to some "hero" of sort that had slayed the Dragon of the North who was terrorizing the land and threatened the kingdom, this hero also had an affinity for fire and held her in disdain like the rest of her family. Suddenly a girl of another world was transported to their world, picked up by this hero and put into his secure care. The pair soon fell for each other despite the hero's marriage, and many believed Laraine got jealous of this girl of mystery, and tried to kill her. This was definitely not true. But because the girl was favored by the temple and kingdom Laraine was quickly arrested and put on trial. You can probably tell what happened to Laraine. But something strange happened the day of her execution. As soon as her decapitated head hit the ground the sky turned blood red and it began to rain fire. No one survived that day. But for some reason time went back, and Laraine was back to being a child, but with no memory of her future. There were select few in her life, however, that remembered her tragedy and now perhaps will take action to prevent it. NOTE: I'M AWARE THERE ARE A LOT OF INCONSISTENCIES. IT WILL BE EDITED SOME DAY BUT RIGHT NOW I'M JUST TRYING TO FINISH IT.

After a recent breakup, [Y/n] had been searching for a new place to live and she just so happened to come across exactly what she was looking for. A small, peaceful village in the land of Mirage is now where she resides. The friendly natives, polite children, rumored spirits of the past, the lush greenery, it was something straight out of a fairytale! After a few weeks of living in her new home, she stumbled upon castle ruins in the forest surrounding the village. Whispers tempted her to go further- seek out more information on it. And she did exactly that. In the basement, [Y/n] found an old, worn out mirror covered in dust. Ornate patterns and foreign runes were carved into the frame. She knew how to speak the tongue of Mirage, and so she read aloud the runes on the mirror. As she did, her reflection on the mirror ripples like water, and she gets transported back in time, centuries before she had even been conceived. Immediately, she was captured and taken to the king as a spy. To return back home, she has to convince the king to spare her life, but at what price? And with the spark between her and the king- perhaps she has yet to discover where home may truly be. "𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜; 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙖𝙪𝙡𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙮 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙮 𝙙𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙨𝙚. "One body: A death, a suicide, and now a murder. Lunacy is settling over, leaving its fingerprints on them, while breathing down their necks. The warm kiss of air is mistaken for nothing but a midnight breeze, and finger prints not much more than dirt. "Are you worthy enough, huh? Do you think I'm such a fool? You'll die there. Ashton Kahn. Mark my words. You are going to die and your family is going to live a dead life. You know what grief is? Of course, why would YOU know? You haven't been miserable for once in your life, have you? You have always been the super-star, haven't you? Of course you'll die. You deserve nothing but a deadly, rotten grave. You are such a chick, aren't you? Huh. I hate you Ashton Kahn. You are so mean. You think wealth is the world. You think beauty is the world. Don't you find having the best muscles, having the best grades, having the perfect eyes, having the perfect clothes, shoes-" Her words were so powerful, her expression meaner. She meant it. And how right she was. There I was, living a beautiful life. Of course I had no idea what misery is. I'd never been miserable for a second. Hah. She was giving me a lesson. The feeling was so intense, her words ruling my brain, empowering my veins. I was so useless. Have I ever cried? Have I ever thought why people say Life is just a Lie? Did I ever care why was the guy behind the coffee shop shutters crying? Did I ever gave it a second thought what did that guy felt when I called him Bozo? Or what was going on with that girl I heard of whose parents died a day ago? Of course, what was I capable of feeling? And there I had always thought I was the perfect me. The boy who could do anything. The boy who ruled. The boy who lived. Life is just a Lie. And for the first time in ever, I felt it to be so, so real. The reality of this was ever-awakening, it's power would have killed a soul. Life is just a Lie.

Guns, revenge and buildings to bomb, what could go wrong? ✮ He came in, gun held out in front of him in one hand while the other was resting on his hip where a sharp dagger gleamed in the light. "Come on out little girl, why not make this easier for both of us. The agency you ran away from just want to have a little talk, that's all." She scoffed internally. Yeah right. Then the footsteps ceased. She peeked to the right, then to the left. Neither direction showed any sign of the intruder. She looked up in front of her and gasped, the glint of steel and smell of death as overwhelming as it was adrenaline inducing, exciting. "Boo." ✮ Murder, accidents, assassinations. Call it what you will, it's all the same, all has the same life breaking, mind shattering consequences - be it for the victim or the bystander. It had shaped Alex in a way no one should be. Broken down and rebuilt into the perfect soldier, one who had the power to change the world, to fight battles that would either make or break the carefully constructed vision we all live in. The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you. Not to mention the threat of a world war and ghost hanging above your head. Armed with sarcasm, wit, and a hell of a lot of aggressive intentions, it won't be too long till a sticky situation is all that's ahead of you. Sometimes, running head-first into a situation isn't the best idea. Instead, you gotta play a game. A deadly game where either you have all the pieces on the board, or you have nothing. [previously known as Espionage: double-cross] Thanks for reading :)
