It's only a short story but it was apart of my year 12 English class! We were required to write a short story using only 1000 words. This was one of my practice drafts as the last few short stories have been other drafts ass well! This story came from the thought of a dream that reoccurred to me for a few months and I decided that I needed to write it out to understand where it came from and why I was dreaming it. Mind you it worked!

Miracle -COMPLETED
--So much on this earth is a miracle. But we fail to see them -- Two friends. One ceremony. One terrible accident. When Jade ended up with something life changing, she thought everything was over for her. And maybe it was. Someone can light a small flame of hope in everyone of us. But sometimes it turns into an inferno and burns us all. I had to write this for a school project and my friend said it was pretty good, so now I'm just "Jesus take the wheel" I got inspired by Disney's "Encanto", but the storyline and the characters are made by me. A dream I had that forced its way out of my head and onto Wattpad. A story that wants to be told. The night of July 23rd going into the morning of July 24th 2015 I had a dream as I slept, a dream that played like a movie. When I woke, I felt I just had to write it. It wanted to come out. I wrote over 2,700 words then and there before doing anything else. A week later and a story became complete at a little over 7,700 words. This, for a long time, was something I really wanted to return to. There was and is so much more that I thought could be done with this tale, so as January 2022 comes to a close, a return does come to that world. Those 7,7000 words have become 8,600 words of an opening story in this ... world. The time had come to explore this world a little further ... a second tale, complementing the first, written between January 31st - February 2nd 2022 now takes the total word count to just under 12,800 words.
