He backed me into the wall and clamped my mouth shut, "Be quiet" his words lashed. His breath fanned against my face and I could smell mint in his breath. The closet was so dark I couldn't make out any of his features except for forest green eyes that pierced into mine, drilling into my skull. Once he was certain the bimbos where gone, he released me and swung open the door then looked at me expectingly. The grandmother lives at the OTHER side of the forest. But how did she get there? And who exactly IS the grandmother of this tale? The wolf? Or something that had to be dead, but in the end... For many years, the people living in the Infinite Forest have lived in fear of the wolves that inhabit those woods. The wolves used to periodically attack humans and some of the victims lost their lives. In addition to weaponry to defend themselves, the people would don enchanted clothing that would protect them from the wolves. Phoenix is a young girl who grew up without a mother, who was killed by wolves when Phoenix was only a toddler. She was given an enchanted crimson cape to wear whenever she left. the house. One year, during a very frightening encounter with a wolf, her cape is ripped and the magic leaves the garment forever. In order to re-enchant the cape, Phoenix must provide a sample of the blood of the thing she fears the most. In this case, Phoenix's greatest fear was a specific wolf that is believed to be the biggest of them all. The very essence of the term Big Bad Wolf. On her quest, Phoenix learns to face her fears. Red Riding Hood is a story everyone knows, but do you know this story? This isn’t the normal Little Red Riding Hood. This is Vanessa Fence. Vanessa is a normal girl who lives with her sister and Grandmother. She drives her little sister, Katy, to school, is a Junior in high school, gets bullied by the jock her best friend swears is on steroids, and pretty much is an outcast. When Vanessa makes a bet and she ends up losing she is forced to go to school as Little Red Riding Hood for Halloween. But when her sister gives her a stolen gift for her Birthday, will she be in trouble for it or will she end up discovering a secret with it. The Wolf is the classic villain. He is mean, greedy, and doesn’t play well with Little Red. But what if all that changes. What if The Wolf is actually a Werewolf? What if Little Red was this Werewolf’s mate? And how does the Grandmother fit into this twisted up Fairy tale? Why don’t you find out for yourself, as Red Riding Hood Meets the Wolf.
