Solstice Ebony Fair has just moved to Yorkshire, England to attend the university of York and to live with her uncle. But ever since she moved she has been having a reoccurring nightmare about a beautiful man who turns out to be a vampire. After 3 weeks she is still having the dream, the same every time.
Eventually Solstice meets Fionn and begins to feel a strange connection to him. Fionn is a vampire who is trying to live a normal life and attend Uni.
Fionn met Harry back in WWII where Harry turned him, saving his life.
