"What a terrifying thing it is, to be yourself."

Who is She? He says She's Auster. She says She's female. HE says She's interesting, She says she's confused. She wants to know everything He and They want to hide everything. HE's holding the world, She's running the world, He's crushing IT, the walls surrounding HE and She, and She herself. But THEY say HE and She's twisted.

Well, I guess HE and She will have to be twisted together to unravel themselves then, yes?

⚠️ WARNING ⚠️

Cussing maybe more, I dunno. Whatever I write and the book needs I suppose. No idea who said that quote, but I don't own it or any crap like that. I do, however own all the characters and jackasses of my story, so shut your biscuit and come up with your own ideas, Mk? Mk.

Good luck trying to figure out the description 🍻🦖

The real question is, who the HELL is Auster Beldaire herself?

In the uncomfortably not-so-distant future, the world has been ravaged by natural disasters, water shortages, and public apathy. People like Kai Gilling have flocked to the desert (once known as the American West) in hopes of finding a better life. After picking up a pair of siblings, the three come across a strange woman who claims to have a map to Arcadia, an urban legend rumored to be the only city thriving in the wreckage of the old world. Will they keep their hearts set on an oasis in the desert--even if it's just a mirage? Or will they be tempted by something else
