Valerie lives in a technology advanced world. Everything is efficient. There is no pollution. Crime is non existent. Unemployment is only 5% of the worlds population. And the government has created a system that selects where you live when you turn eighteen to utilize your talents and contributions to society. You stay in your selected country for the rest of your life.
Her life was perfect until the day she discovered she had the gift of fire. Some people develop a gift as they get older. If you were believed to have a gift the government would take you away and you would never be seen again. The gifts Fire, Water, Earth, and Air are very rare. How will she survive the government? Will she learn to control her gift or will it consume her?

Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else.
