Julia is 20 years old and lives with her delinquent twin brother Jace in a small apartment in the poorer part of Manchester. She is guarded and has reason to be. With an abusive father tormenting her and her brother and other dark secrets in her past, she has forgotten how it feels to really trust someone. Her passion for music is all that keeps her going. When she meets Matty, an aspiring musician, she thinks its to good to be true. They are drawn to eachother, both seeking comfort in music.
