I am the Goddess of the elements; fire, water, earth and air. My mother is kind of dead, and my father is alive. My name is Brigid, or as I like to call myself Bridget. Since I've been on earth for years, I am almost normal. Except for the fact that I am a Goddess, demi-goddess in fact. My father's name is Hephaestus, he is in the "Twelve Olympians". He is the God of the fire and the forge. After I found out that my stepmother is not my real mother, and my father lied to me all my life, I got really angry that I almost killed him. He never cared for me, my stepmother is the only one that did. I have two stepsisters and one stepbrother. But, I would've never mind having stepbrothers and sisters, my father was just cruel, and brutal, and I was angry and stupid, so what happend, happend I do not regret anything. I ignored my father, and I decided to live a not so normal life on Earth, by guarding it. I decided to be the guardian of anything that needed help and saving.
I am still close with my younger sister Iris and my brother Helious. Iris is the Goddess of the rainbows, Helious is the God of the sun, and my older sister Artemis is the Goddess of the moon and hunting. After my accident I was sent and also on my own will to go and guard the Earth. Even tough I was the most powerful of them all, I never acted like that, I always tried to fit in. It's not like I didn't, the people just found me irresponsable. Because, I wanted to have fun, and I wasn't posh and cruel.
I stayed on Earth for years, then I went to guard Joutunheim, and then back again on the Earth. Also, Artemis is the "guard" of the Earth. Actually I do all the work and she takes the credit for it.
Right now, it was the day when I am going back to the place I didn't go for a long while...
Asgard...
[A/N I know this nothing special, just getting to know the book, hah anyway hope you like it. Read my other books, if you like, love you! <3 ^_^]
I could give you a sob story about how tough Cressida Lynn's life has been, but you're not here for that. You're not here to hear about how terrible her mother treated her and how she only got her first birthday present at age nine or how no one outside her cabin liked her. No.
You're here to hear about how her life changed the summer of her 12th birthday. The summer when Poseidon's son came crashing through the camp borders after he'd killed the Minotaur.
You're here to hear about how they found the Lightning Thief.
You're here to hear about how they ventured through the Sea of Monsters.
You're here to hear about how they withstood the Titan's Curse.
You're here to hear about how they fought in the Battle of the Labyrinth.
You're here to hear about how they defended the Last Olympian.
However, I must warn you that this journey is not for the faint-hearted for each quest is more treacherous than the last. And it is most certainly not for mortals.
But, should you find yourself feeling brave, should you be a demigod in a past life, a present life or a future one, then I invite you to join me on this adventure.
