On The Run

Thandeka Nkhosi is getting ready for her wedding ceremony. She feels like something is not right. She tells her mother she no longer feels her fiancé, Themba Mkhize; how disconnected he is. She's told to be calm, but it's nagging on her. She tries calling him, but because of their agreement to not communicate via phones and other means all day until after their wedding ceremony, he doesn't pick up. Hysterically, she cries and causes her mother Gloria Nkhosi to worry.

A frantic groomsman calls her and says they can't find Themba. She runs out of the room, looking for him. During her search, she goes to the wedding ceremony marquee and there he lies, a bloodied mess... dead.

As the police investigate, she's placed as a suspect because of the statement given by her mother about how she woke up that morning saying that she couldn't feel Themba anymore.

It's a journey of how she runs from the police, tries to find her fiancé's killer and how love finds her again.
