"Wait," I called out
He stopped dead in his tracks but didn't turn around so his back was facing me.
"I can't stay," I said. His body tensed only slightly, but I couldn't see his face, his emotion. I opened my mouth to speak again, but he cut me off before anything could come out.
"You are mine," he growled at me.
With that he walked right out the room not waiting for my response.
