With Hyrule on the verge of destruction from the massive civil war that's broken out, Link questions whether or not his life should come to an end. Then, he meets the charming Zora prince, Sidon. Sidon's positive attitude lifts Link's spirits up, and makes him think that maybe there is an end to this war. Link soon falls in love with the prince, but struggles to fight against the demons that rampage inside him, keeping him from being completely happy.

It's a princess's dream to be swooped away by her knight in shining armour, but for Zelda, this knight has to be a prince as well, in order to follow the King's rules. Link and Zelda's love is put at stake when trust and loyalty are tested. Can the two break through the laws to pursue their love, or will they give in and follow the path chosen for them? Nintendo own the characters of Link and Zelda, as well as the location of Hyrule and Hateno Village, but the rest of the character are all my own, as well as... the other location. Zelda doesn't believe in soulmates; Zelda barely even believes in herself. That is, until Link turns up with a sword strapped to his back, heralding the end of times. Now, they must work together to prevent the fall of Hyrule and rise of Calamity Ganon. But, the task proves as tricky as expected, especially when Zelda feels like she's falling faster than her Kingdom...and perhaps in a way she never expected to. Pre-game (and post-game, eventually) fic centred around Link's memories and what might've happened in between them.
