He was fascinated by the lightning. She was fascinated by the rain...and him.
When Felix, a ceraunophile (a lover of thunder and lightning), gets struck after storm chasing one evening, he's sure that it's the end of his life. Especially, when he wakes to find Poppy, a pluviophile (a lover of rainstorms), smiling at him in the summer rain. Confirming that he is indeed still alive, Poppy and Felix take an unexpected trip to the hospital, where Felix learns that he has seven days to live. In an attempt to live his best life now, Felix scribbles a list of 9 things he wants to do before he dies in the seven days he has to do them.
All of them include Poppy.
But as the days come to a close, so does Felix's lifespan. With one final task on his list, the biggest one of all, Felix will have to decide if it's worth risking his life. Or, if Poppy will have to live for him.
