In this generation, everyone was branded with a tattoo of a symbol. The symbol represented their value. Jason was the leader of the values. He was the only one with ALL the values. 

Mika was a fighter. She had Liability. Her father Avery taught her to fight when she was little, before she got her mark. Her value was Empathy but she had a secret. A secret that could throw Jason off his throne of being a leader. She kept it hidden, that was until she met Jaiden and found out Jason wasn't the leader everyone thought he was. 

People without values are rare and are called defects. Jaiden (J-a-den) Rivers and his sister Ari were defects. And after Ari (R-e)gets captured, Jaiden is determined to save Ari. That was until he got captured by Mika (My-kah). 

Teo (tay-o) captured Ari and found out things that made him want to rebel. And after Mika integrated Jaiden she wanted to revel too and decided to help find Ari. But once everything went downhill her last chance was to reveal her secret, which could get her killed.
