In Mineral Wells, West Virginia everyone knows everyone and there is nothing to do. The closest Walmart is an hour away, no mall, and no fast food restaurants. There is only one dinner, one bar, one gas station, and a Tractor Supply. The high school's biggest graduating class was 150 students in 1987. As you can tell the only thing to do in this town is farm, drink, or waste gas.
With the summer of 2017 coming in a few months, everyone is getting ready for 4-H camp and of course the county fair. The town is buzzing, but for Heather Johnson all her mind is buzzing about is helping her father around the family farm. Until her best friend talks her into joining 4-H and she finds out this sleepy town has more to it than just farming with the help of a tall country boy of course.

Adeline Cobwell, Abbie's mother, lives in a small town, Reef's Paradise located in Florida. As the name indicates, the town is sort of a paradise for people residing there. Hidden alcove of a town, separated from busy cities surrounding it. The local saying, 'once you are here, you never want to leave,' is something all townsfolk here adhere to. Just like any other small town, Reef's Paradise has its own stories and secrets. Most of such stories are known to all the residents but unknown to the newcomer, Abbie. One such intriguing story is about the Light House, located at the far end of the town on a deserted beach. There is something about the stories, and the Light House itself that attracts Abbie even before she finds out a secret, hiding in it. This is a story about Abbie's journey to self-discovery, to learn what love and care truly mean. Being a teenager is not easy nor is peeling off layers of masks, especially when you have them on for so long. -Summer teen romance- Isla Nova Dawson has always been the type of girl to hang out amongst big crowds of people. She prefers the company of a few people where she feels the most confident in. She thrives lost in the crowd, where she can confidently make jokes and laugh heartily at others that may not be that funny. There's no surprise why Isla has become some of the popular type at school- she loves being known by others. Julian Hayes isn't a loner. No- far from it- he has a group of friends he plays baseball with and surf during the summer. He has family that he is known to hang out with. He just tends to stay away from big crowd of people where he doesn't feel comfortable in. Isla and her friends find themself at this opportunity of a lifetime. Finishing off her Junior year of high school, her school offers resources to go on a trip with teenagers like her. Travel for Teens isn't a new concept but it is for the small town of South Carolina. At this opportunity, the group of people jump at the chance to get out and do something new which will no doubt be fun. It was supposed to be fun for Julian as well but after plans abruptly change and thousands of dollars that cannot go to waste, he finds himself alone at the trip. Sure, he can go out and socialize with teenagers especially since they're ones from his school but he finds himself isolated from the group. The teens throw a big party at the house during the end of the trip. The small leads to a boring night at the end. The teens find themself playing little games to occupy time. "I dare you to kiss a guy you don't even know the name of," Isla was asked and soon she found herself kissing Julian. It shocks Julian to a pause, here he was sitting idly to a girl kissing him suddenly. Julian ponders on it, but then finds out that the kiss wasn't meant to be anything.
