Your father and you finally settle down in Hidden Sand due to you wanting to become a shinobi like your mother that you've never met. You meet a red-haired boy named Gaara on your first day at The Sand Village and quickly become best friends. Your father and you, were the only ones in the village that accepted Gaara. Though, as soon as you and Gaara become best friends, things drastically change and you end up living in the Leaf Village. Gaara believes that you left him because he was a monster, and that turned him even more bitter than before. 

A/N: Please enjoy this rewrite, I hope my writing style has improved a bunch. And, I'm really sorry for discontinuing the second book of the first book and not mentioning that this would happen? Though I'm not asking for forgiveness because it is what it is and sometimes in life, you just have to suck it up. Also, I'm not going to promise that I'll update this story daily because I don't like to break promises. I just thought I should say that now since I've never really told you guys. I'm also keeping the first two books (the second one was discontinued for those who are new) so that you guys can compare if you want. A lot of things might be really different- scratch the might, they most likely will. Oh wells, it is what it is.

**The photo used in my cover can be found on google search. I used PicsArt (highly recommend this editing app if you're a mobile user) to edit the photo itself to make it have that edgy feel and text was also added on to the photo thanks to PicsArt again. It was dark and lonely. No one was there. Suddenly there was a boy with red hair and coral eyes (would that be his eye color?) He smiled at me and said "I'm here now. There is nothing to be afraid of." I run up to him and hug him. He hugs back but harder. Then a kunai stuck into my back. I felt hot tears poor out as I asked "why?" He cried to and said "because you would have killed us all of I didn't. I'm sorry f/n I'm sorry!" Everything went dark. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I was walking into his office when I heard someone. "BUT GAARA YLU CANT MARRY HER! WHAT ABOUT ME I LOVE YOU AND YOU LOVE ME YOU KNOW THAT!" It was a girl but who?! I heard Gaara "I told you already snow (if your name is snow which I doubt please use a different name for snow) I can't I love her and you i-i don't know. The 4th Great Shinobi War has ended, and Gaara is starting to wonder how the nations will maintain their fragile peace without a common enemy. He's devised a plan to go on a diplomatic tour of the shinobi world, and try to establish strong bonds with each village, and Mist Village is his first stop. Joining Gaara and his two ever loyal siblings, Temari and Kankuro, will be the Leaf Shinobi, Naruto, Shikamaru, Ino, Tenten, Hinata, Neji, and surprisingly, Sasuke Uchiha. Sasuke isn't really going for the mission though, he's been persuaded to join them by Gaara's new, out of this world teacher, Shine Likstar, and her partner Wally West, and their current hero trainees, Momo, Shoto, Dabi, and now joining them, Bakugo and Camie. Along the way the group runs into Team Taka, and makes some detours, all the while trying not to drive each other insane with their crazy hijinks, culture clashes, and different ways of looking at the world. Not to mention past trauma. But things may heat up when they actually reach Mist Village and find more than they bargained for. [This story is a sort of spin off of the main story line, and picks up where my shorter retelling of the War Arc and Sasuke Retrieval Arc left off. Read that book first if you want to know how these characters know each other, it's on my profile. Otherwise if you just want to jump right in and figure it out, I respect that approach too. This should be a lot of fun. The story is a bit slower paced than the first ones were since it's styled to be more Slice of Life/Action, but they'll be ships, funny situations, and angst and drama in plenty for all of you who like a little spiciness with your friendship stories. Promises to be thought provoking and unusual, like my other stories.] Let's do this!
