This is my first story so just roll with it! Takes place in 18th century England. A young woman named Clarice loses her dear husband to a tragic death and is left pregnant without him ever knowing. Now months later she is being forced to live in a society she has no interest in being around by her parents who say it's for he own good and for the good of her unborn child. But she has determined to remain forever alone and raise her child herself. What happens when going to a party she meets a man that catches her attention? Does she have the strength to move on? Or will she ever have to?
