Casey Liz Mills was an introvert. As a child, Casey never went to birthday parties or even needed a baby sitter. She was one of the most independent, self conscious young girls a person could come across in their lifetime. On Casey's 16th birthday, all she asked for was a boyfriend. Since all Casey did was stay inside and read, there was no time for her to go out and socialize. Or, at least, time that she wanted to give up. When Casey's birthday wish comes true through a freak accident, she goes through the ups and downs of a normal teenage life.
