The story of Valadel is not over. Each survivor of the Valadel expedition has found themselves in the midst of wars, betrayals and plots for power
In the east, the Kingdom of Jorden is in turmoil. The Ranger Order is recuperating from devastating losses, and the power of the oath that binds the warriors to the sacred Order lessens everyday.
In the north, the Kingdom of Farrenhelm has begun their invasion of the south, and half of the Thanes of the Twelve have taken their banners with them. Few have been left behind to defend the homeland, but far to the north, mysterious forces amass, and it seems the Kingdom of Farrenhelm is caught between a war on two fronts.
In the south, the people of Valdor find themselves torn between pursuing their interests and mere survival. The Council and the College of Nazor each whisper in the Queens ear, and the fate of the nation may just fall into the hands of a young scholar.
In the west, a young lord must leave his home in the Kingdom of Arnland to give away his niece for her wedding, but even across borders and seas, the politics and intrigues of his court refuse to leave him be.
And far across the sea, a survivor refuses to give up, and plots their escape from the cursed kingdom they called Valadel.
There are wars to come, and there are those willing to fight them!
