Excerpt of a novella.
Clara is eleven when she first meets the Nutcracker. With her youthful imagination, she sees beyond the doll and finds the soul within. She is enchanted with him, and is distressed when he disappears on Christmas morning.
But then he appears next Christmas, and the next. What she once assumed was a child's fancy is revealed to be genuine magic. As the wicked Mouse King threatens both her family and her dear Nutcracker, she must find the heart within her to break a centuries-long curse.
Pas de Deux is a retelling of The Nutcracker and the Mouse King. The second edition will soon be available on ebook formats and in paperback.

Encanto: The Soothsayer and the Butterfly
This is based of my Disney's What If...? Bruno the Misunderstanding Soothsayer. It's from Disney's Encanto btw. I am going to rewrite it. Just don't know how long. Edited: From January 20th - 26th, 2022. Almost a week. Plot Summary: This story takes place in Encanto, Columbia. Mirabel Madrigal just turned 5 years old. She was ready to see what gift beyond the magical door. Unfortunately, Mirabel became sad because her door disappears. She did not get a gift. Bruno Madrigal was the misunderstanding soothsayer. He was summoned by his mother. Abuela Alma Madrigal worried about the magic, the candle and the casita. His mother mentioned that Mirabel did not get a gift on her ceremony. Bruno have no idea how that happen. She tasked him to see the future of the candle and the casita. What if Bruno chose to meet Mirabel instead of foreseeing the future? Again, it's a rewritten Encanto what if. Due to popularity since it got out on Disney Plus, I am going to make my Disney what if happened. Note: It's an uncle and niece family relationship.
