Due to certain aspects of his life, Dipper has been dubbed 'mentally unstable' and forced into psychiatric treatment. No matter what techniques were used, no psychiatrist could get down to the very root of his problem. 

His newest psychiatrist, Preston Southeast, is determined to figure the boy out, no matter how difficult of a problem it will pose, and Dipper tends to be much more of a problem than Preston will care to admit. 

Dipper truly doesn't care, and he could care less what people think about him, as long as he stays out of the public eye, he has no issue keeping up with such a horrendous charade. Then, he meets a girl. 

Pacifica is wonderful in so many ways, and makes Dipper feel things he has never felt before. He wants to hide his unstable feelings away from her sight, and Dipper is a champion pretender. But he can only keep it up for so long before something snaps.

Third time's the charm, isn't that how the phrase goes? Or, rather, is it three strikes, you're out? For Dipper Gleeful, it tends to fall onto the latter. The boy could get anyone he should desire, given his net-worth, his angelic genetics (thanks Mr. and Mrs. Gleeful), as well as his connections. And, being devilishly clever doesn't hurt. However, apparently fairytales are dead wrong and finding true love is more difficult than it's cracked up to be. Even when you are the closest thing America is going to get to an actual prince. Guess, it's a little different when somebody needs you. _______________________________ Follow this (short in chapters, lengthy in words) oneshot that I've written solely because I just adore people meeting their end-game significant other when they dunno it yet. Slowly Dipper starts to rebuild the burned bridges finding his way back to the girl that just needed someone to believe in her.
