Lily is a girl most parents would be proud to call their daughter. She is a talented dancer and musician. She plays the piano and in marching band she is the lead marimba player. Lily has been winning music competitions left and right since she was young. Now 15, she is the perfect music major college candidate, but her parents don't care. Lily's parents, especially her father are blinded by their wish for Kate to become a star golfer. Lily's dad loves golf and he assumes that Lily does too, but he's wrong. Constantly playing in golf meets and tournaments takes a horrible toll on Lily, mentally and physically. Finally, after one particularly awful day of golf, Lily decides that she's had enough. Lily is tired of constantly disappointing her father and having her musical career shunted off to the side. It's time to run away, high time to break free.
