There had been stories about a girl who talked to dragons. People spread rumors about having seen her flying through the air with dark dragon wings. Nobody had really seen her seeing as how she stayed out of the way. The stories about her started up a couple years after the announcement of the Great Age of Pirates. Everyone thought it was a myth until that girl made a grand appearance.
Riley D. Rouge had been there to witness the death of the Pirate King when she was 5 but she still remembered a lot of it. She had looked away when they brought the blades down but she still saw the smile on his face before he died. Everyone went on to do whatever they needed to do except for her. She stood still and stared at the ground a while longer before bringing her arm up and wiping her eyes that were about to spill tears onto the ground. Then she turned and and walked off into the woods, not to be seen again. Or so they thought.

I got this idea when I was listening to a song and I had to write something, the Oc girl in here is named Kumiko Kago who is Eustass Kid's and Killer's childhood friend from the south blue long ago, both Kumiko and Kid made a promise to each other back in their home town, Kid set off first to become a pirate as Kumiko had to wait. She is also a former member of the Whitebeard pirates, she fought in the war to save Ace's life but the nightmares from those times still haunt her. What will happen when both Kumiko and Kid meet each other after after eight years? They turned to face the boy. "Arthur," Daiki called out, his voice calm but alert. "What is it?" Arthur skidded to a halt, his chest heaving as he grabbed Daiki's shoulders. "Wreckage," he gasped.
