There had been stories about a girl who talked to dragons. People spread rumors about having seen her flying through the air with dark dragon wings. Nobody had really seen her seeing as how she stayed out of the way. The stories about her started up a couple years after the announcement of the Great Age of Pirates. Everyone thought it was a myth until that girl made a grand appearance.
Riley D. Rouge had been there to witness the death of the Pirate King when she was 5 but she still remembered a lot of it. She had looked away when they brought the blades down but she still saw the smile on his face before he died. Everyone went on to do whatever they needed to do except for her. She stood still and stared at the ground a while longer before bringing her arm up and wiping her eyes that were about to spill tears onto the ground. Then she turned and and walked off into the woods, not to be seen again. Or so they thought.

One Piece (LA): Captain's Orders
[Written before OPLA, Season 2 was released.] At first, the doctors thought the girl was born with a deformity, until her black feathers grew out revealing abnormal wings. Superstition couldn't help but plague the townsfolk as they feared the child to be a cursed angel, even the child's parents. So, for the sake of easing their worries, the town abandoned the youngling to a deserted island to leave her to die. But what they would never know, is how resilient the child was on her own... Years passed by, and the child grew into a cold, cunning, and independent young woman. She survived off natural instincts and wit alone. Along with her supernatural abilities, she was able to learn how to speak the human language by luring sailors to her home and taking everything from them: from books, to food, to their treasures. And it's because of this woman's special abilities, she ensured that her island remained unknown to anyone. That is....until an extravagant looking ship with funny looking people came ashore. [This is a "Live Action" Captain Buggy the Clown x Reader. Disclaimer, I own nothing involving the One Piece franchise, just the original character of (Y/N) and my story plotlines. Enjoy!]

It calls [Eustass Kid]
A man burst through the crowd, his voice strained. "Daiki! Dorothy!" His hurried apologies to those he jostled barely reached his lips as his frantic eyes searched for them. They turned to face the boy. "Arthur," Daiki called out, his voice calm but alert. "What is it?" Arthur skidded to a halt, his chest heaving as he grabbed Daiki's shoulders. "Wreckage," he gasped. "They found a wreckage near the coast. Survivors. Lots of them. We got everyone we could, but-" He glanced at Dorothy, his face pale. "Miss, you're going to be busy. Real busy." Dorothy and Daiki exchanged a look, their shared understanding wordless but resolute. "You heard him, Doc," Daiki said, his tone light but steady. She nodded, her jaw set with determination. Turning back to Arthur, she straightened her posture. "I don't care how many there are. Bring them all!" Then, raising her voice to the crowd, she called out, "If anyone here has basic medical knowledge, grab your gear and follow me! We've got lives to save!" The bustling street fell silent for a heartbeat before the people sprang into action. Dorothy's motto rang in her mind: Help anyone who needs it. And that's exactly what she intended to do. ➯ The art used in the cover is an edited but official coloured manga panel One piece belongs to Eiichirō Oda as well as the canon characters of the series Started : November 25th 2024 Finished : July 8th 2026Complete

"Now see," I ran the blade over his neck slowly, watching the fear creep into his eyes. "The thing about pirates is, we don't care about your rules.
