In the halls of Georgwell High, she was simply Danika Madsen. But in the corners of Ember Valley she was none other than the most mysterious Anti-hero ever known.

No one had seen her costume.
No one knew what name she went by.
And until one reporter got lucky, no one even knew what she sounded like.

But all that changes when three Wannabe-Superheroes come crashing down into the city center.

Literally.

After catching the eye of three rookies, everything changes. For better or for worse, you tell me.

Throw in an old face, people constantly trying to befriend both her egos, a missing superhero and secrets that run deeper then she could've ever imagined, and one thing is clear:

Looks like the new Supes on the block might be more important than she first thought.

"Tell me, please. Who were you? Who were you before... all of this?"

I let out humorless chuckle.

"Who was I?" I never took my eyes off the city skyline. "I was a nobody. I was always a nobody and I always will be a nobody. So stop trying to figure out my story."

I finally turned around to face her.

"Because there's none to tell."

My Misconceptions

31 parts Complete

As an orphan, Emma Johnson never exactly believed in miracles or magic of any kind. Or even the proclaimed superheroes everyone loved. That all changed the fateful night when she was mugged and attacked. At that point in her life, she had come to the conclusion that she wouldn't amount to much, and as she lied half-conscious on the ground, she couldn't help but think that she deserved this kind of death. She didn't want it, but it seemed appropriate to someone with nothing to call her own. Then in swoops in her own personal superman, saving her and taking her back to his place where she wakes up the next day. She is then surprised to find that everything she thought was fake before, was suddenly coming to life before her eyes. And what's even more shocking is, she's been in the middle of it her whole life. Description credit goes to my friend, dropsofargent, who so kindly wrote the description for me.
