After an accident, Ash lost all of his memories, and when he went back to Kalos to join a tournament, his so-called "friends" were also competing. They were still mad at Ash and they kept on saying for him to give up on his dream, but after they found out what happened, they blamed themselves for it, they felt sorry, they were mad at themselves, everyone was broken, 

Mostly a certain honey-blonde haired girl, 

Who caused all of this mess.
