[ON HOLD INDEFINITELY] For years, Mark and Wren have been partners, tricking this fool of his coin and cheating that dunce his share while selling some new schlep on their honesty as good workers. Whatever it takes to earn a bit of coin. But now Wren gets a chance to reclaim his old life, and Mark has no plans of abandoning his friend.

In a tavern, the two men are beset by a couple of strangers anxious to be rid of their roles as escorts. They offer their jobs as guards to Mark and Wren, promising a re-instatement of Wren into the Royal Guard upon completion of the assignment.

It was a simple job, escort a troupe of animals and their trainer east to the capital of Meccacia as gifts from Senri for the coronation of Meccacia's new king. They've traveled through all of the nearby nations, often in hiding or incognito; the job shouldn't have even caused them to bat an eye.

What they weren't told though was that the animals were all legendary creatures from griffins to wyverns, that the trainer was a fourteen year-old girl, and that she was carrying with her a dragon's egg.

Nor did they know that there were others who were aware of this, too.

Torin Steele had his fair share of pickings when it came to women, but the Grand Council of Elders wouldn't soil the royal bloodline with a low born female. Or any who didn't obtain the same level of power. After years of searching in courts for his fated mate and coming out empty, the kingdom could not wait any longer for an heir. After many meetings and votes the decision was finally made from the Elders. Torin could pick any mateless female dragon, or one low stationed girl that had enough power in her veins to not make him look like a fool. Ridge Kaelith had made his life simple. Well, as simple as it could get. He told himself countless times he was just fine being the first bonded rider in history, and the first orc to ever leave their mountain villages let alone be Hand to the King. Torin and Ridge had grown up as brothers, but life in the capitol wasn't easy for an Orc. His own kind disowned him, and finding love was practically impossible. That stoicalness drifted when met by a feisty redheaded pirate who melted away the bitterness. Ridge's biggest problem? His brother already had his eyes on her, and even worse, he had to be her escort and guard. Aspen Leighson had lived a quiet life in her fishing village on the southern shore, until the royal guards came with two witches asking for all girls between the ages of 16-28 who were unmarried, to withstand tests by order of the King. The cover picture is NOT mine, only the title is that's on it. It was an image I found on Pinterest but dont know who had originally posted it. *Book Two Of The Federation Series* It is said that the moon goddess created supernatural beings that gain strength from the moon, creatures of the night. Werewolves were the first supernatural beings created. They were her favorite and most cherished of all the supernaturals because they were the most loyal and obedient of all her children. The moon goddess looked favorably upon the Weres, blessing them in many ways. For hundreds of years, they prospered and basked in the goddess's love. Then over time, Werewolves became disobedient and arrogant. Many did not want to have to settle for their destined mate, they wanted the option to choose who they took as a mate. Rejecting one's mate became a common practice, one that greatly displeased the goddess. With the help of her vessel, she proclaimed that rejecting your mate is a crime against her and should be punished henceforth. The elders fully agreed and rejecting one's mate soon became illegal, bringing about an end to the act. But one Werewolf male thought himself above the law. Because he was of royal blood, he felt the law shouldn't apply to him and he did the unthinkable. He not only rejected his beautiful and sweet mate Aubrielle, but he also imprisoned and tortured her. His crime came with a hefty price, one that was used as an example for generations to come. ************************ Though it is not necessary to read Secrets Of The Past before this one, It might be a good idea to do so since there are things in that book that will help understand some things in this one. ************************ Rated: Everyone. Due to claims of books being removed because they were found inappropriate, (Not sure how true this is) I have decided to keep foul language to a minimum. There will be no sexual content either. I want my books to be enjoyed, not removed. Hope everyone enjoys reading my works! Completed on 4/25/2022

The Demon Princess Returns

13 parts Ongoing Mature

**They called her worthless. The Abyss proved them catastrophically wrong.** Born to a bathhouse servant, Nyra was the Empire's favorite victim. For eighteen years, nobles bet on which beast would tear her apart first, watching her flesh regrow for the next round. They called her "worthless bastard," "abomination." On her eighteenth birthday, phoenix fire erupted from her spine-the rarest core in existence. The divine mark of imperial blood. The Empress's solution was swift: steal her core, give it to Princess Selena, cast Nyra into the Abyssal Rift. But the ancient demons didn't devour her. They adopted her. Seven years later, she's back. The nobles are dying impossibly. Selena's stolen core burns her alive. And something ancient stirs beneath Whitestone Peak. When she meets Ronan Fenwick-the beast-hunter whose mark burns for the creature he must kill-everything changes. He's hunting her. She's his fated mate. The girl they called worthless carries secrets that predate empires. The Therion throne thought they buried their shame. They're about to learn phoenixes don't stay buried. *Where monsters wear crowns and stolen power demands blood.*
