This story is about a boy who's family is murdered by eight witches, he grows up with the intentions of avenging his families death. As he becomes twenty one he is old enough to seek these witches and kill them, but the Major of Teversham also wants them killed and hires soldiers including Eric to go on a witch hunt, they have been told to bring eight skulls back in order to prove that they are dead.
