It was thousands of years since the last major outbreak and humans had managed to evolve more than ever, finally making an IA that can think for itself. One day, it was convinced that the robots that man had made were better than the humans. After that, a war broke out of the arguing. After a few months of the war, the robots recovered the bodies of the fallen humans and brought them back to fight for them. It would have worked if the first one hadn't been corrupt. It was back to the drawing board. But the first one never died, he was still alive, just barely, when the built him again as a cyborg. He managed to escape from the robots. It was hard for him to adjust to the machinery inside of him and adjust to the thought of being part of the thing that basically killed him. He then met [plane girl] who was just playing until she noticed him. He formed a connection with her (emotionally). He then later, leaves to find his place. However, he finds a person who is in jeopardy and helps her find a safe haven in another world. When he finally gets there, she and her friends want him to stay. He declines the offer and tells them that he must return for the other survivors. As he leaves, he also tells her what he truly is which makes her see him in a whole new light.
At the end, he talks about how that world is dying and struggles to escape the AI who wants to know where he put some of the humans. He escapes and informs the reader of the [plane girl's] father who asks him to save his daughter. So he then hides her for safe-keeping for a long time until she can fulfill her destiny. The book closes with him talking to a robot who he made with part of his programming telling him what to do next while his cyborg heart starts to stop. As the sun sets, he watches it, waiting for the future to come and the end of the sad story...
Season 4 of The Virus Within
Trinity is familiar with zombies, being one herself, but when strange zombies start appearing, she realizes that the world she knew might be changing yet again.
When a dangerous set of scientific notes are discovered, Trinity and her friends don't realize anything is wrong until a frantic radio call comes in. Unaware of the notes, they race to the south and struggle to determine where the strange zombies came from. The zombies are unlike any ranks previously seen, and they aren't as predictable. Some have new tricks hidden up sleeves, forcing any Stronghold they encounter to quickly adapt to the new challenge or risk being overrun. Secrets never remain hidden, and zombie apocalypses never make life easy.
