Dragon Magic

The brush scraped against my shins, thorns tugged at my jacket. I heard their calls but didn't slow down. I wouldn't let those freaks catch me, not after what I saw them just appeared out of thin air. I still remember the glass look in her eyes, as they waved that stick in her face.
"We need to find and Oblivate her!" Someone yelled behind me. My snow white hair was snagged on a branch. letting out a Yelp I was yanked back.
"I heard something!"
Quickly I pulled my hair free and scrambled up the tree. my chest rose and feel as I waited quietly, the men passed below me. "Come out dear we won't hurt you!"
Oh, by the way my name is Pearl! Pretty cool name if you ask me considering Pearls are expensive and highly wanted these days.
