This book is inspired by the testimony of mine (Andrew Minter), but most events in this book are not things that happened in my actual life, it is just to get the point of SHINE your light in the world, Don't hide it out there. Andy is the main Character, and he represents me, who struggled with depression, addiction, and more. I tell you, that you should give this book a chance, and know that even though you are going through a Dark moment, God is always with you, and God can use anyone to help someone through a dark moment. Sometimes life can get so hectic that we fail to stop, take a breath and just be still. For years I have been committed to having a quiet time each day where I read the Bible and talk to God about what is on my heart, which has been really wonderful but it just struck me today as I began my quiet time that I need to take more time to LISTEN when God is trying to speak to me. No one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. You can learn by reading His Word, the Bible. God will let you understand what He wants you to understand, when He wants you to understand, and how He wants you to understand - He is the only one who really understands you. Are we living in the end of time? Only God knows that, but there are some telling signs in the Bible. The only thing we can really do is love and trust God. Here is how I post my entries - I open the Bible and post what I see, at least about 90% of the time. I really feel that God or the Holy Spirit is directing me. I can't explain some of them.
