Otaku Girl

Olive Acosta is what many will call an Otaku girl. She spends most of her day locked away in her room watching anime, reading manga, drawing or playing video games. The other half of her day she spends working at a bookshop in town. She’s dropped out of college and taking a break until she figures out what she wants to study for. She lives with both her parents and her younger sister, Violet. Her only true friend is her sister and sometimes she wishes for something to change in her life.

Meanwhile Nolan is new to town after moving in with his aunt and uncle. He is a hardworking boy and works full time at a hardware store. He is a complete bookworm and enjoys reading, as can be seen with all the books stack on the floor of his bedroom. He makes friends easily but has only been close to one person in town, his friend Desmond. He enters the local bookstore one day where he meets Olive, the girl of his dreams.
