Don't take it too lightly because it just might come true. As for June, she might just need some more convincing because after all the chaos that happened in her life; a wish come true doesn't seem possible.

Here she is. I can see the slope of her spine through that thin shirt. She's made of angles I ache to smooth with a hand, but I'd use my lips if she asked. I brush her knuckles with mine. It's the first day of June's senior year and everything is already going wrong.
