Meet Scarlett Striker, a bold and quirky journalist for the Seattle Times. She's fun, confident, sassy, and just the right amount of weird. Scarlett is determined to rise to the top, no matter what it takes.
When her boss offers a golden opportunity to be among the best, Scarlett knows she needs to find a story that will make her career. She's willing to say and do just about anything to get there. But from the moment James Wilson enters the picture, her life takes a dramatic turn-and nothing will ever be the same.
Scarlett's POV:
"Are you always this infuriating?" he asks, clearly annoyed.
I shoot him a glare, my temper flaring. "Depends on who's pissing me off," I snap back, noticing the way his fists clench. Great, now I've gone and poked the bear.
"All good. I forgive you," I add quickly, not wanting to push him too far. He scoffs and turns away, unimpressed.
God, what an asshole. I know I'm testing him, but I can't help it-I've always been a hothead, especially when someone tries to control me.

Meet Elizabeth Casana, a highly regarded executive assistant in New York City. She's smart, a bit of a nerd, and an obsessive cleaner, but she's also confident and never afraid to speak her mind. When she moves to Seattle with Scarlett, she lands a job as Chris Bryant's executive assistant. He's charming, fun, and carefree-but she absolutely cannot fall for him. Little does she know, falling for her boss will be the least of her worries as her past resurfaces and new dangers emerge.
Elizabeth's POV:
I roll my eyes, but I'm smiling too. "You're such a charmer, Chris. But I'm onto you."
"You say that like it's a bad thing."
"Not bad," I admit, my hand resting comfortably on his leg. "Just...dangerous."

"C- Can you move b- back a little?" My words made him smirk and if it's even possible, he came closer.
Why do I always have to stuck between him and the desk?!
"Why? Am I making you nervous?"
"No." I lied. Ofcourse, he was making me nervous. His eyes had the power to hold a person on his place and that's what his eyes were doing to me.
"Really?" He asked, putting his hands on my waist and pulling me closer towards him. On instinct, I put my hands on his chest. I didn't like it. I didn't like the way my body was responding to his touches.
"T- This is un- unprofessional." I choked out the words, but I wish I couldn't have. He brought his face closer, so close that I could feel his minty breath on my lips. My lips parted accordingly in shock.
"Oh, is it?" He said, mockingly.
Oh god! What have I gotten myself into?

Aaron Steele, the CEO of the multi billionaire Steele's Company was the eligible bachelor of 25. He always had his way among girls and having blue eyes, a chiseled jaw and a hot body, didn't help either. With new woman on her arms every other day, he was obviously not planning on falling on that cliché word also called love, but would his thoughts of not falling in love still remain the same, after meeting her?
Sienna Collins was a girl of 22 with extremely shy personality. After completing her graduation, the only thing in her mind was to get a good job and settle on her own, but what she didn't expected was a job at Steele's Company.
This is a story of the innocent and the sinful.
