"And I know, I know I can't just come back into your life and wish to be with you , I'm not asking you for anything I just-" I grabbed her by the collar of her shirt and our lips brushed, I could feel her hot breath on my lips as she froze.

Alex Danvers was a normal teenager going through highschool when one day she met the ever so wonderful Maggie Sawyer and realized that she wasnt just a friend. Sparks fly and they become really close, but Maggie is worried what her father would think if he found out. A wild turn of events causes Maggie to leave a broken hearted Alex with no explanation. But what happens when they meet years later, because of Kara and Lena's wedding, will Alex be able to forgive Maggie? Or will she decide to shut her out?

Even on Krypton, she was misunderstood. When she was younger and her mother asked about boys or boyfriends, Kara would always reply, "No, Mommy! I wanna have a girlfriend." Which was unheard of. Kara's feelings towards girls were punishable by death, much like some countries on Earth. So. when she was old enough to understand the risk of loving who she wanted, she suppressed her feelings and convinced herself that she loved boys. On Earth, years later, she meets someone who makes it impossible to ignore her feelings, but she has never made her feel as amazing as Lena Luthor. Lena Luthor was raised in a home where you could be beaten for simply looking at someone. She didn't bother with love or figuring out her feelings about all of her friends. It just wasn't important. When she moved away and her brother was put in jail, she assumed that she was attracted to men. She didn't know otherwise. But when she met Kara Danvers, every thought she ever had about being straight was proven wrong. This was what love felt like.
