Mapleshade was exiled from her Clan because she had kits with a RiverClan cat, sending her to be exiled from RiverClan after her kits drown in the river. This makes her mentally unstable and has nightmares until she kills Ravenwing, Frecklewish and Appledusk - the three cats who caused her kits' deaths. This sends her to the Dark Forest... BUT
What if Appledusk had been born in ThunderClan - to Oakstar and Shinecloud? Being a ThunderClan cat his whole life would make it perfect for being Mapleshade's mate.
