In a not so far off future, heroes are a thing of the past. An extinct kind. Somewhat like dinosaurs. But there's still threats. The world always has threats.

When Miles obtains superhuman abilities that he doesn't really understand, he tries to take on all these threats headfirst fueled by personal motives, rage and determination. He might not be the hero that the world wants. But he's the hero the world needs. He's Spider-Man.
