Emotion's Come and Go

Rain has always had everything in life. She had Money, looks, friends, and a wonderful family. Everyone either loved her or envied her. Soon though, Rain learns that good things don't last forever, her mom comes down with a mysterious disease that seems perfectly normal at first. It stars off like a cold, and like normal, her mother seemed to have gotten better. Three days later her mom is in the hospital, deathly ill. Doctors work on her all day and all night, not knowing what was wrong with her because they have never seen something like this before. As her mom seems to get worse, Rain starts to shut down. She throws a wall up to guard her from people and their emotions, she even tries to hide from her own. Then one day at the hospital she run's into Alex, a boy with a little sister named Isabella who is fighting cancer. Instantly Rain is drawn to the small girl, Isabella has a strong will to live and such a bright and perky attitude it seems to warm the entire room and fill everyone with delight and happiness. Alex doesn't seem to care about anyone but Isabella. His parents walked out on them as soon as they heard Isabella was sick, they couldn't handle it. He isn't sure he should trust Rain but he still allows her to visit. He knows that Rain likes his little sister a lot and that his little sister sure seems to like Rain. The smile that only Rain can put on that girl's face makes even Alex grin. Will Alex ever learn to trust Rain, will changes in their future ever send them spiraling together? Find out.
