A room with nothing in it, and a collection of empty journals waiting to be filled. Charlotte Cypher has always dreamed of adventure being raised on tales of dragons and lore. Three days before leaving for college a handsome man sneaks into her room and offers her a chance to write her own story. He calls himself the Doctor and claims to travel through time. Will Charlotte be willing to grab her destiny or will she need some persuading. From the death of the last dragon, to a future where people can plug their apple products into their brains, Charlotte is about to discover what it means to be the companion to a Time Lord.
