In exchange for their survival, the captured group known as Veracity, are strung by treaty as slaves to the Kyo, a human resembling league of flesh eating monsters. When rumors of a teenage Veracity girl, Blaine Klisser, defying the Kyo by accident becomes known, they take it as rebellion.
Aware of the hell that they live in, Veracity, with the help of the aggravated human boy named Koren, attempt an escape from the volcano. But leaving behind the forbidden love of the Kyo Senry proves hard for Blaine.
