Blaeclaethe the Karleigh, a beautiful young but evil Fay (known as a Lillith), curses the twelve year old prince, Kristopher, of Caelindium, the Toy Kingdom, by turning his body into a wood doll. Fay Elvira and the Magician attempt the reverse the curse, but the curse is too strong. There is yet hope. On the great mountain lives the Great Fay. She may reverse the curse - but so far anyone who has tried to take the doll there has died or returned in failure. As a last resort, the Magician gives the doll to Marya, the unassuming oldest daughter of modest nobility, in hopes that perhaps her childlike heart can protect the prince from Blaeclathe's evil and maybe, just maybe, she can complete the quest. Enjoy this combination of The Nutcracker, The Ice Queen, originality, and other fairy tales in this fairy tale: Wood Dolls.
