"Do you remember when we got married, Tommy? Do you! We vowed to protect each other!" I yell, staring at my husband with fire in my eyes.
"I do...please Kezia, I just want you and our daughter to be safe." He responded, walking towards me.
"Tommy, Lucy, and I will be fine, trust me. I just want you to be safe....I can't lose you." I say, a tear falls down my pale cheek.
He cups my cheeks, and he looks down at me. The same crystal blue eyes I fell in love with.
"Kezia Guinevere Shelby, I promise I'll be safe, and I'll come back home to you and Lucy tonight. I love you, darling."
"I love you too, Tommy."
I went up on my tippy toes and leaned into a passionate kiss.

In the winter of 1910, Kezia LaBelle became Kezia Shelby, and she married the love of her life, Tommy Shelby. The beautiful Gypsy girl fell in love with Tommy the minute she saw those mesmerizing blue eyes. Tommy fell madly in love as soon as he laid eyes on the ginger girl riding on a white stallion. They got married on December 21, 1910, and then started their own family in 1914, when their daughter Lucy was born. When Kezia found out that Tommy had to go serve in the war, it tore her apart, as she didn't want to lose him. But he promised he'll come home alive and safe.
It's now 1919, and the war is over. Kezia has been home taking care of her nieces and nephews, Finn, and her 3 year old daughter Lucy, with Polly and Ada by her side. Lucy was not even a year old when Tommy went to France, and she only knows him from stories Kezia tells her.
Now, the Shelby boys are coming home, and Kezia couldn't be more happy to finally have her husband by her side again. Now, Tommy goes back to being the leader of the Peaky Blinders, with Kezia by his side. But what happens when they realize that the war changed both of them?
