Maybe my friends and I shouldn't have taken all those shots. I mean, we were underage,but it was Summer-and we were just trying to have a fun time. That was, until the entire world went from summer to winter in about 5 seconds, and left me drowning in questions. Literally.

Emma was just trying to live a little, and enjoy her summer at the family lake house. Trying to pick up cute boys, swimming in the ancient lake, and staying up all night around a fire. But one mistake changed her entire life.
When Emma resurfaces, she needs to find someone who can answer her questions, and more importantly-who can fix her life?
I guess all the fairy tales from her childhood weren't true.

a cold summer
It has been a stressful year for Rain who has struggled to keep up with the workload during her first year of marine biology at University. Now that summer has finally arrived, she can look forward to a long anticipated break and spend time with her friends enjoying one of their favourite pastimes - swimming in the Loch! Summer solstice arrives and they all decide to go swimming in the Loch to celebrate decent weather for once! Rain jumps in first, revelling in the warm but surprisingly cool water. As she surfaces, the summer weather has disappeared and she discovers her friends' lifeless bodies floating next to her. But how could this happen to strong swimmers in a shallow loch with no currents? The investigation commences and it's clear the police are struggling to find answers. Radically they suggest calling in special advisors to assist the investigation - the Paranormal Investigation Team (PIT). Will they fare better than the local police force? This isn't the first unexplained death to occur in this spot, after all this is the same loch where three children were discovered floating dead in the Loch during a game of hide and seek at a birthday party. All just because one of the three girls had believed that love would lead her into her grave at a very young age. The two girls left in the past had done the only reasonable thing locking the chamber which hold the power of all magic after the third had died so that no nights could ever step foot on their island ever again.
