"He was ambitious. Young. And tired. Not sure whether more from the obstacles to his ambition or from the ambition itself. ... He wanted to climb that mountain. For no apparent reason. But he wanted it bad, and wanted it now. Maybe the peace was waiting for him there. ... The mountain was steep but his unrest was propelling him up. He couldn't help but wonder, Why the red one? Of all that he could find, the red one?" As any good Jedi, when she looked into the Force for the first time, Rey saw light, darkness, and a balance. But what if that is not entirely correct? What did Luke Skywalker mean when he said to her, "It's so much bigger"? What did he mean when he said, "I only know one truth: it's time for the Jedi to end"? Here is a story of a mountain encounter, set some years before The Force Awakens and giving background to The Last Jedi, that will face you with a surprising answer to those questions. There was a test coming to all the Jedi. And one of them had to pass it first. Did he? Did they?

A Darth Vader Romance Kat I am no one. A shadow. Insignificant. Or at least, that's what I was taught to be. I could not have predicted that it was exactly this, the shell I lived inside, that would one day cause Darth Vader to pull me into his world, one of deceit, violence, and...love? Even Anakin couldn't have known that he would remove the scales off of my shell, little by little, until I was standing before the Empire with nothing to hide behind. But as I stood in the light, it is the appearance of my own shadow that was least expected. It turns out, the closer one gets to the spotlight, the bigger their shadow. --- Anakin There was a time when I believed in the Jedi. For a while, I believed in the Sith, too. If a woman brought down my faith in one, I suppose it is only right a woman would bring down the other, too. But, I'm better this time. Older. Experienced. Knowledgeable. I wouldn't give up everything for a woman again, right? Wrong. You see, with Padmé, I feared the danger she put herself in. I rarely encouraged her to fight harder, encouraged her use her talents and charisma. Sometimes I even disagreed with her ideals. And it is that mistake, among many, that I will not be making again. If Kitten wants to show her claws, her targets need only look behind her to see my shining eyes preparing to clean up the mess. It might be fun, were it not for the sheer size of her messes. TW/ CW: this is still a bit dark, though not on the same level as Vader's Fortress. He's still a shadow daddy, don't worry! Graphic violence & bodies of the dead Blood and gore Spanking Choking Confinement (willing) Hostile work environment (it's true but...lol) Murder Panic attacks PTSD Slavery Dubcon Elements regarding war, hand-to-hand combat, brutal injuries, and sexual activities ranging from casual to...dark lord. No pregnancy, but motherhood is mentioned.
