Alyssa was deathly still against me, her fingers balled up into fists at her side. Her mouth parted but no sound came out. I tried to still my racing heart and sat back on my heels to put some distance between us. This girl is going to give me a heart attack. My eyes jumped to her hands which were inching towards my one of my shirts on the bed. The T-shirt was shoved over her head at an inhuman speed and before I knew it, she was half way out of my bed.

"Go, I dare you," I growled and she froze, like a deer caught in the headlights. Her gaze flickered to the door, to me, and to the door again. I could hear the gears turning inside her head, assessing the situation and coming up to a flight or fight response. She couldn't out run me, we both knew that, but hell, I'd like to see her try. "20 seconds head start babe, but if I catch you, you spill all the secrets you've been keeping from me-"
