Nineteen year old Lilian Hunter has finally began her Freshman year at California Institute of the Arts, to study and become an animator. With her extraordinary dreams and odd thoughts, lack of friends and concern of the counselors, she doubts she will survive. But then she meets Noah Knight, an odd young boy with such creative and unusual ideas. Lilian and Noah both fall in love with each other's unusual selves, creating the best college year of their lives.
