Magic, something I didn't think was real. Most people besides small children know that magicians actually use science, not magic. Everything we thought was magic always had a logical explanation on how it happened.
At least that's how Maya Carpenter thought until one fateful day.
High school students Maya Carpenter and Jackson Parker live a pretty normal life. Going to public high school, having friends, going on dates, having crushes, a bunch of homework, all that good high school stuff.
After a baseball game at their school, Jackson was dared to go into the forest near the school. As Jackson went, Maya followed him to make sure he was safe. In the forest they came across a mirror made out of pearl with a sapphire on top. When Maya decided to grab it to look at if more closely, a person magically came out of it and captured them inside the mirror, later figuring out he has evil intentions for earth.
Now Maya and Jackson have two goals, one to get out of this new magic universe and second, stop the evil forces from taking Earth and destroying it.
