In the beginning
You were just a boy
Who I had the misfortune to meet
But then you were always so kind and sweet.

Then when I came back
You were a path to my past
Holding the key to secrets forgotten
I was still so naive then.

Then you left my life for a brief while
And I forgot, more important things
On my mind
Oh, little did I know, the dangers I would find.

I don't remember when it began
Or even how it started
All I know is that one day I was suffering
And you were my sinner, lies and traps spinning.

Now you've gone
I think
In the beginning I felt relief
But now I know, the after is much more than the present grief.

This is the story of how my life, once normal, turned into a horror story. And the enemy? My best friend.
