Dead is not all rainbows and butterflies. It's not 'better than living'. You are not 'free' or 'better off'. You're just not. So what is it like? Think of it as the ultimate game of tag. One Grim Reaper after another, and if you're caught, you die...again. But what if you suddenly fall head over heels for someone who hates you? What if he tries to kill you? What if you are partnered with him to capture a serial killer? I'd like to know the answers to those questions too. Maybe I'll find some light in all this darkness. What happens when we die? We think to ourselves if we just knew that we would have peace of mind. One thing is for certain now, there is an afterlife. On Earth (e1) wars were fought and millions died defending their "truth." And then the greatest trick of all occurs: we die, we're reborn on Earth 2 (e2) and we still don't know a goddamn thing. From a philosophical standpoint it's even more disconcerting than not knowing. And so, the quintessential question on Earth 2 remains the same as it did on Earth: "What happens when we die?" My name is Nolan Moore and something special happened to me. Or at least that is what the psychiatrist calls it. I think it was disturbing, too horrific for words. What happened to me was something that keeps me up at night. Sometimes I lay in bed and stare at the ceiling for hours, even days. I get shivers down my spine even writing this down, but I have a feeling that I will be gone soon. So, if you read this, then you get a glimpse of my soul. I pray that before the end of my story I will get forgiveness for everything I have done. Just remember I did this because I thought it was the best thing at the time. Clearly, it wasn't. Time is a thin line floating between what was and what will be. It's flowing through space hoping to reach an end. Normally whenever someone makes a choice, time itself splits and although we don't feel a thing, it still happens, nonetheless. But now something happened that had never happened before. Two new lines that were created flowed alongside each other through the endless void, seeking their old one. They were never supposed to collide, but one strange afternoon everything went wrong. The three timelines hit each other dead on. Three people ended up on an island, three exactly the same people.Complete
